Medium Weight Pallets

Beecraft UK Ltd’s range of medium weight plastic pallets is available with an open or closed deck in a range of sizes and colours, weighing between 7 kg and 16.5 kg, with a maximum dynamic load of 1 tonne and static load of 4 tonne. Several models in the range are nestable, cutting the volume empties occupy on the return leg.

Where medium weight is the right class

Medium weight pallets exist because most loads do not need heavy duty capacity. Buying the strongest pallet across the board means paying for a rating you never reach and carrying the extra empty weight on every single movement — across a fleet moved daily, that is a real cost with no return.

Size on the dynamic figure, not the static one. Dynamic is the weight carried while the pallet is being moved, which is what a pallet spends its working life doing. Static matters only if you block stack.

Then check the racking rating separately. It is always the lowest of the three because a beam supports only the ends, and it is the figure most often missed when pallets are compared on a datasheet.

The range covers 1000×1200 UK standard and 800×1200 Euro footprints, in closed deck, H1-style hygienic patterns and reinforced builds, in both virgin and recycled material.

Specifying for a repeated-use circuit

These pallets are bought for circuits rather than single shipments, so the options that matter are the ones that extend service life or track the asset. Steel reinforcement raises the racked rating where pallets go into beam storage. Reparable runners let a damaged pallet be repaired instead of scrapped. Anti-slip pins hold a load in place on the deck during transit.

RFID tags can be fitted where pallets are tracked around a loop, and logos printed or engraved where fleet ownership needs to be visible. Four-way entry and rounded corners are standard across the range.
