1200×1200 Lightweight Plastic Pallets

1200×1200mm square lightweight plastic pallets, such as the BCMY-N BIS-1212, for drums, bulk bags and oversized export loads where a low empty weight matters. Request a quote from Beecraft in Wembley for UK-wide delivery.

The 1200 mm square and drum handling

A 1200×1200 deck takes four 205 litre drums in a two-by-two arrangement with clearance. That single fact accounts for most of this footprint’s use: chemicals, lubricants, coatings and anything else shipped in standard drums.

Square also means orientation stops mattering. The pallet can be approached, turned and set down from any side, which suits sites where drums are rolled onto the deck rather than lifted.

What to check carefully at this size is the racking rating. A 1200 mm span between beams is longer than a Euro pallet’s 800 mm across its short axis, and a longer unsupported span deflects more under the same load. Racking figures on square pallets are lower than the headline static capacity suggests, and four full drums is roughly 800 kg of product before the drums themselves are counted.

In lightweight, this footprint suits one-way drum consignments rather than racked storage.
