900x1200

The 900×1200 Lite Box footprint

900×1200 sits between the Euro deck at 800 mm and the UK deck at 1000 mm. That is a deliberate choice rather than an odd one.

The extra 100 mm over a Euro footprint is useful volume on a box, and the 100 mm saved against a UK footprint can be the difference between fitting a vehicle, a doorway or a racking bay and not fitting it. Where a site is working around an existing constraint rather than a standard, an intermediate footprint is often what actually fits.

The trade-off is that it is not a module of either system. A 900 mm box will not tessellate with Euro or UK equipment, so it works best where boxes travel and are stored as themselves rather than being combined onto a pallet.

Lite Box construction means the box is costed per trip rather than as a long-life asset, which suits one-way and low-return consignments.
