Lightweight Pallets

Beecraft UK Ltd’s range of lightweight plastic pallets is available with an open or closed deck in a range of sizes and colours, weighing between 1.35 kg and 9.6 kg, with a maximum dynamic load of 1.2 tonne and static load of 4 tonne.

Why unit weight is the whole point

On a lightweight pallet the number that matters most is the pallet’s own weight. Between 1.35 kg and 9.6 kg is a sevenfold spread, and every kilogram of pallet is payload you are not shipping. On a full trailer that difference is measured in pallets per load.

The nestable geometry does the same job for the return leg. Empty nestable pallets collapse into a fraction of the stack height of rigid ones, so a vehicle bringing empties back carries several times as many — which is what makes these pallets economic for both one-way trips and multi-use circuits.

Handling and options

Entry is four-way, so a forklift or pallet truck can approach from any side without the load being turned first. Corners are rounded so shrink and pallet wrap pull on cleanly rather than catching and tearing at the edges.

Reparable runners can be specified where pallets take repeated fork strikes in the same place, and special crate rims where crates are stacked directly on the deck and need locating. Logos can be printed or engraved into the moulding for fleet identification.
