Pharmaceutical Industry
Pharmaceutical handling puts a requirement on packaging that price alone cannot satisfy: everything has to be demonstrable.
A pallet or container in a pharmaceutical supply chain has to be washable to a verifiable standard, made from material with a traceable input stream, and free of cavities that hold water or surfaces that shed fibres. Reclaimed plastic performs well mechanically but cannot provide traceability, so virgin material is the correct specification wherever documentation is required.
Plain, closed geometry is what makes cleaning verifiable. Ribs, open decks and cavities all give contamination somewhere to survive a wash cycle unseen, and an auditor tests whether cleanliness can be shown rather than whether the pallet looks clean.
Beecraft supplies hygienic pallets in virgin HD-PE, rigid lidded returnable containers used in pharmaceutical logistics, and ESD-safe handling for products containing static-sensitive electronics.
Tell us the cleaning regime, the documentation you need and whether pallets go into racking, and we will confirm the specification.
