Beecraft UK Ltd was established in 1988, at a time when the plastic pallet was beginning to make an impact in the world of logistics.
Beecraft has developed in tandem with market requirements for plastic pallets and plastic crates for all kinds of storage applications around the world and currently supplies products to a vast array of industries including, but not exclusive to, flourmills, pharmaceutical companies and dairy farms.
What we actually do
We supply plastic pallets, pallet boxes and returnable containers to UK businesses, and we spend most of our time helping people specify the right one rather than simply selling from a list.
That matters more than it sounds. Most pallet problems we are asked to solve are specification problems: a pallet bought on its headline load figure that turns out to be rated far lower in beam racking, a box that overhangs its pallet by a few millimetres and gets damaged on every movement, or a timber pallet in a washdown area that cannot be cleaned to a standard an auditor will accept.
The range
Pallets are grouped by duty rather than by size, because the duty is what governs the decision. Lightweight pallets are for consignments that do not come back. Medium weight pallets are for closed-loop circuits where the same pallet makes the journey hundreds of times. Heavy duty pallets are for racked and block-stacked loads where deflection over months, not failure on the day, is the limit.
Alongside those we supply hygienic food grade pallets in traceable virgin HD-PE, ESD pallets for static-sensitive electronics, bunded spill pallets for drum and IBC storage, pallet boxes, returnable packaging and freezer spacers.
How we quote
There are no prices on this site. Pallet pricing depends on specification, quantity and whether the pallet is a one-way cost or a returnable asset, so a list price would be misleading more often than it would be useful. Tell us the filled weight, how the pallets are stored and moved, and whether they come back, and we will come back with a specification and a price.
