A lightweight export pallet across regulated sectors
A cost-effective lightweight pallet on the 1000 × 1200 mm footprint, used across pharmaceuticals, chemicals, meat, foods, snacks and electronics. Strong and durable, and able to withstand deep freezing and steam cleaning.
Deep freeze and steam clean is an unusual combination
Most materials are good at one end of the temperature range or the other. Plastic that survives deep freezing can turn brittle; plastic that takes steam cleaning can soften. A pallet rated for both is what lets the same unit move from a blast freezer to a wash line without being swapped out, which is exactly what cold-chain food operations need.
Why lightweight matters on export
Every kilogram of pallet is a kilogram of product you are not shipping. On air freight and on weight-rated sea lanes that shows up directly in the freight bill, and across a container it compounds.
Plastic also sits outside ISPM 15, so there is no heat treatment or fumigation certificate to obtain before an export shipment can move — usually the step that delays a timber-palletised consignment at the border.
Where to go instead
If loads go into beam racking, a lightweight pallet is the wrong class — see the heavy duty range. For direct food contact, the hygienic food grade range is the correct specification.
