LE3 in the lightweight export family
A cost-effective lightweight pallet on the 1000 × 1200 mm UK footprint, used across pharmaceuticals, chemicals, meat, foods, snacks and electronics.
What separates the LE builds
The LE range covers several builds on the same footprint. They differ in construction detail rather than purpose, so the practical way to choose is to tell Beecraft your load weight, how the pallet is handled and where it is going, and have the specification confirmed rather than picking from a list.
Getting it wrong in the lightweight class usually shows up the same way: a pallet that was adequate on the outbound leg arrives deformed because the load was heavier than the class was meant for.
Why lightweight for export
Low tare weight means more of the freight allowance is product. Plastic also sits outside ISPM 15, so there is no treatment certificate to obtain before the consignment moves.
Where not to use it
Lightweight pallets are not racking pallets. If stock goes into beam racking, specify from the heavy duty range. For direct food contact, the hygienic food grade range.
