Description
Our cleanroom pallet is manufactured from reclaimed, recycled plastic material and is therefore somewhat cheaper than the version made from new material. However, this version has equally good load-bearing and cleaning properties. Please note that cleanroom pallets manufactured from reclaimed material are not food-safe.

Reclaimed material: the honest trade-off
This cleanroom pallet is moulded from reclaimed, recycled plastic rather than new material, which makes it cheaper. Load-bearing and cleaning performance are equally good. The one thing it is not is food-safe — pallets made from reclaimed material cannot carry that assurance, because the input stream is not traceable.
That distinction matters. If the pallet goes into a cleanroom, a pharmaceutical packing hall or any washdown area where the requirement is hygiene and cleanability, reclaimed material is entirely appropriate and costs less. If the pallet will be in direct contact with unwrapped food, it is the wrong specification and you need the virgin-material option.
Where cleanroom pallets get used
Cleanroom and controlled environments, pharmaceutical and cosmetics production, electronics assembly, and any operation where pallets are washed between uses. The smooth closed surface is what makes them washable — there are no cavities to trap water or residue.
