The five-skid cleanroom pallet
Same reclaimed-material cleanroom specification as the BCR1210, built on five bottom skids instead of three.
Five skids change how the pallet behaves on equipment rather than how much it carries. On roller conveyors and automated transfer the extra contact strips sit more predictably; on a rack beam the load spreads across more bearing points. In a cleanroom that runs automated handling, that is usually the deciding factor.
Reclaimed material, and what it means
Moulded from reclaimed recycled plastic, so it costs less than the virgin-material equivalent with equally good load-bearing and cleaning behaviour. It is not food-safe — reclaimed input cannot be traced — so for direct food contact you need a virgin-material pallet from the hygienic food grade range.
Specifying between three and five skids
Three skids where handling is forks and pallet trucks only. Five where pallets meet conveyors, chain transfer or racking. The five-skid build is slightly heavier, which is worth knowing when you are buying in quantity.
