The all-rounder, and where it sits
Beecraft’s medium pallet is deliberately positioned between two extremes: lighter than the heavy duty pallets, stronger than the lightweight range, and made from scratch-resistant high-quality plastic for day-to-day service rather than a specialist application.
Most operations do not need a 2,500 kg dynamic pallet for most of their loads. Buying heavy duty across the board means paying for capacity that never gets used and carrying the extra empty weight on every movement. The medium pallet exists for that majority of loads.
Scratch resistance is not cosmetic
A scratched deck holds residue and is harder to clean. On a pallet that stays in service for years and gets washed repeatedly, surface durability decides how long it stays acceptable in a hygiene-conscious operation.
When to step up or down
Step up to the heavy duty range if loads approach the rated limits or pallets sit in beam racking. Step down to lightweight if the pallet is going one way and weight drives the freight cost. For food contact, the hygienic food grade range is the correct specification.
Send us your typical load weights and we will tell you whether medium weight is the right class.
