The 1135 footprint
A cost-effective lightweight pallet for pharmaceuticals, chemicals, meat, foods, snacks and electronics, strong and durable, able to withstand deep freezing and steam cleaning.
Why 1135 × 1135 exists
1100 × 1100 mm is the standard pallet across much of Asia and Australasia, and 1135 sits in that family rather than in the European 800/1000 × 1200 system. If your goods load into containers packed to Asian standards, a European footprint leaves space on every row.
It is a footprint you choose after measuring the container or the destination racking — not one you arrive at by default.
Freezer and washdown in one pallet
Rated for deep freezing and steam cleaning, which is a harder combination than it sounds. Plastics that survive blast freezing usually go brittle; plastics that take steam usually soften. A pallet that does both moves between a freezer and a wash line without being taken out of circulation.
Lightweight, and what that rules out
Low weight is what makes it cost-effective on freight, and it is also what makes it unsuitable for beam racking. For racked loads use the heavy duty range.
