Protecting the layer underneath
A layer pallet earns its place in one situation: stacked storage where the lower layer would otherwise carry the column on too few contact points. By increasing the support surface between layers it spreads that load and prevents crushing damage to the product below.
The cost of getting this wrong is not the pallet, it is the stock. Bagged goods, drums and non-rigid cases all deform under point loading, and the damage usually shows up at despatch rather than in the racking.
Roller conveyor compatibility
Designed for automated lines with roller conveyors. That places a real constraint on the underside geometry — it has to run consistently rather than catching, because a layer pallet that jams stops the whole line.
Choosing within the range
