The Euro footprint
800 × 1200 mm is the Euro pallet standard, and it is the footprint to choose if goods cross into Europe or sit in racking designed to European dimensions. Vehicles, beam spacings and pallet handling across most of the continent are built around it.
For purely domestic UK distribution, the 1000 × 1200 BCLP1000 is usually the better fit — using a Euro footprint in a UK-standard warehouse leaves 200 mm of beam unused on every pallet position.
How the Lite Box works
The pallet base has a reticular structure with good mechanical characteristics and a perimetric groove that houses the sleeve. The sleeve locates into that groove rather than sitting loosely on the deck, which is what keeps the assembled box square when it is loaded and moved.
Why sleeved rather than rigid
Base, sleeve and lid separate. Empty, the sleeve collapses onto the base instead of travelling at full height, so a return vehicle carries several times as many empties. In a closed-loop delivery — where packaging comes back rather than being disposed of at the far end — that is normally the whole economic case.
The rest of the range
