The half-Euro footprint
600 × 800 mm is exactly half a Euro pallet, which is the whole reason it exists. Two of them occupy one 1200 × 800 pallet position with nothing wasted, so a mixed load can run half-pallets alongside full ones without breaking the storage grid.
That suits operations delivering smaller drops — retail replenishment, service parts, multi-drop routes — where a full pallet per customer would ship half empty.

Half pallets and manual handling
A practical consequence of the smaller footprint: a loaded half-pallet is light enough to move with a manual pallet truck in places a full pallet would not fit — shop floors, back rooms, lifts. That is often more useful than the storage saving.
