Why access matters more as the load grows
Four full drums plus the bund is a heavy load with liquid in it, and liquid moves when you move the pallet. Two-way access forces the truck to approach from one of two sides, which in a congested chemical store often means manoeuvring the load more than necessary.
Four-way access lets the driver take the shortest, straightest approach available. That is a stability point as much as a convenience one at this weight.
Choosing between the four-drum units
Beecraft lists three four-drum bunds. The BCBP4 prioritises sump capacity; the BCBP4L prioritises low height for manual drum loading; this one prioritises handling.
