Four-way forklift access

Why four-way matters more than it sounds
A two-way bund has to be approached from one of two sides. In a chemical store that usually means shuffling other units out of the way first, or approaching down an aisle that was not designed for it. Four-way access means the truck takes whatever angle the space allows.
That matters most where bunds get moved regularly — changing production runs, seasonal chemicals, temporary storage during maintenance. Where a bund is positioned once and left, two-way access is adequate and cheaper.
Moving a loaded bund
Worth saying plainly: a bund with two full 205 litre drums on it is a heavy, high load with liquid in it. Four-way access reduces the number of awkward manoeuvres, which is a safety point as much as a convenience one.
