Recommendations for use
- Do not stack more than 48 pallets, which is equivalent to a height of 7.7 m
when empty. - Do not handle stacks of more than 27 empty pallets.
- Once stacked in height check that they are properly fitted.

Three runners on the Euro footprint
Three runners give two-way entry and span a rack beam, which is the combination most European hygienic operations need. It is lighter and less expensive than a five-runner build, and for loads that do not push the rack rating it is the sensible specification.
Where loads are heavier or pallets run on conveyors, the five-runner BC1210C5 gives more bearing surface — though on the 1000 × 1200 footprint rather than Euro.
Cleanability
Plain and closed throughout. The value of that in a food or pharmaceutical operation is that cleaning can be verified: there are no cavities holding water, no ribs collecting residue and nowhere for contamination to survive a wash cycle unseen.
Racking versus handling
If the pallet never goes into beam racking, the nine-foot BC1208C9 gives four-way entry and even less floor contact. Runners are worth their constraints only if you are racking.
