The one that can go in racking

The BCIH1 is the outlier in the hygienic range. It is moulded in virgin HD-PE rather than standard grade, sits on the 1200 × 800 mm Euro footprint rather than 1200 × 1000, and carries a 1,000 kg racking load — against 300 kg for the BCH pallets.

1,250 kg dynamic, 5,000 kg static, 18 kg, three bottom skids, retaining edge. Virgin material is the reason it is specified where washdown and material traceability both matter.

The hygienic pallet that racks

1,250 kg dynamic, 5,000 kg static, 1,000 kg racked, 18 kg, virgin HD-PE, 1200 × 800 mm.

That racking figure is what makes this pallet unusual. Plain, closed hygienic pallets are typically rated around 300 kg racked because the smooth geometry that makes them washable also removes the ribs that provide stiffness. At 1,000 kg this one genuinely goes into beam racking.

Virgin material is a documentation decision

Virgin HD-PE rather than reclaimed. Mechanically reclaimed material performs well and costs less; what it cannot do is provide traceability of the input stream.

In food-contact and pharmaceutical work that is the whole question, and it is what an auditor asks about. It is not a performance claim.

Three bottom skids, welded

Three skids for forks and pallet trucks. For automated conveyor handling, five-skid builds in the range sit more predictably.

Euro footprint

800 × 1200 mm for European racking and export. The BCH pallets on 1000 × 1200 are the UK-footprint hygienic options, though at 300 kg racked they are floor-stacking pallets.
