H1 pattern, reinforced, recycled
A reinforced H1-style pallet made from recycled material on the 800 × 1200 mm Euro footprint.
What H1 means
H1 is the hygienic pallet pattern used widely in food and dairy: an open structure with no cavities to trap water, designed so it can be washed and dried properly. It is a recognised specification rather than a marketing term, which is why buyers ask for it by name.
Reinforcement on a hygienic pattern
The H1 geometry that makes a pallet cleanable also removes structure. Reinforcement puts the load capacity back without adding ribs or cavities that would defeat the point — which is why a reinforced H1 exists as a distinct product rather than being covered by a standard one.
Recycled material
Made from recycled plastic, which keeps the pallet out of landfill at end of life and supports sustainability reporting. Over 95% of Beecraft’s new plastic product range is made from recycled material.
Note the trade-off: recycled input is not traceable, so a recycled pallet is appropriate for hygiene and washdown but not for direct food contact where traceability is required. For that, virgin-material pallets in the hygienic food grade range are the correct specification.
