The smallest box in the range
250 mm high and 1.45 kg empty, the BCKNK-3025 is the lightest BCKNK container and the most efficient to ship — 5,940 to a 40 ft high cube.
It belongs at a bench rather than on a pallet: pharmaceutical packs, electronic components, spares and small high-value items, handled constantly. A shallow box also stops overfilling before it starts, which is often the real reason to specify one.
More depth on this footprint: BCKNK-3032, BCKNK-3036.
Small containers and stock accuracy
The argument for small containers is rarely capacity. It is separation: one part number per box, visible at a glance, with no digging.
On a 400 × 300 mm footprint you get twice as many distinct locations in the same trolley or shelf space as on 600 × 400. For a kitting or service-parts operation that translates directly into fewer picking errors, which usually outweighs the extra container cost within months.
Why shallow suits high-value parts
A shallow box physically prevents burying stock. Parts sit in one layer where they can be counted by eye, rather than in a heap where the count is a guess until someone tips it out.
For pharmaceutical packs, electronic components and spares, that visibility is the point of the container.
Attached lid
The lid is hinged to the body rather than separate, so nothing goes missing between uses — the usual failure of lidded containers in a circuit that runs for years.
Beecraft supplies these from Wembley with no minimum order quantity. See the attached lid container range or contact us.
