Closed surface, closed handles
Two specifications that sound cosmetic and are not. A closed surface means solid walls and base rather than mesh, so fine product, powders and liquids stay inside and the container can be washed down without anything passing through. Closed handles are grip openings that do not break through the wall, so nothing escapes through the handle either.
Together they are what make a container acceptable in food and pharmaceutical work. An open-mesh container with through-handles will fail a hygiene audit for exactly these two reasons.
Chemical resistance
Not sensitive to acids and alkalis, which widens the range considerably — chemical decanting, laboratory work, cleaning-product handling and any process where spillage onto the container is routine rather than exceptional.
The 200 to 300 mm heights
These are the shallower containers in the Euro range. Shallow is the right answer for dense product, where a deeper box reaches a safe manual lifting weight long before it looks full, and for bench work where the operator needs to see and reach the contents.
For greater depth on the same footprint see the 400 mm length containers.
Euro sizing
Euro containers are built to modules that stack and tessellate on Euro pallets and standard dollies, so they fit the equipment you already run. Contact Beecraft for sizes and pricing.
