The 400 mm range, continued
This listing continues the 400 mm length Euro containers with closed surface and closed handles. Where the shorter 200 to 300 mm containers suit dense product and bench work, the 400 mm sizes carry bulkier goods on the same footprint discipline.
What closed surface and closed handles give you
Solid walls and base, with grip openings that do not break through the wall. Nothing escapes through the sides or the handles, and the whole container washes down cleanly — the two requirements that decide whether a container passes a food or pharmaceutical hygiene audit.
Acids and alkalis
These containers are not sensitive to acids or alkalis, so they hold up in chemical handling, laboratory and cleaning-product applications where spillage onto the container is part of normal operation rather than an accident.
Specifying depth
Depth is a handling decision more than a capacity one. Deeper containers carry more but reach a safe manual lifting weight sooner with dense product, and they are harder to reach into at a bench. Match the depth to the density of what you are putting in it, not to the space available on the shelf.
