Description
Due to its thought-out construction, the Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) is a reusable transport system for liquids which saves money within the goods cycle.
Advantages in comparison to traditional one-way transport tanks:

The 1000 litre class
The IBC 1000 and IBC 1000EK cover the larger end of the bag-in-box range. A thousand litres is the standard bulk liquid unit across chemicals, food ingredients and cosmetics, so this size fits existing filling lines, pumps and decanting equipment without adaptation.
Reusable rather than one-way
The container is a reusable transport system for liquids. The comparison that matters is against one-way packaging: a one-way container is bought, filled, shipped and discarded, and the cost repeats on every shipment. A reusable one is bought once and cycles.
The economics turn on how many cycles you get and what the return leg costs, which is why a settled, repeating route is where IBCs pay back best.
Product never touches the outer
A liner holds the liquid; the rigid outer provides structure and protection. Changing the liner rather than cleaning the container is what makes it workable when consecutive loads are different products — no wash-out cycle, no cross-contamination risk from residue.
