Description
The collapsible large load carriers from the BCGLT series consist of hygienic and insulated containers that are safe for use with food, available in the Plastic Pallets Ltd Packaging range.
These containers feature smooth outside and inside walls and can therefore be cleaned easily and profoundly. The throughout double-walled side walls ensure an effective
isolation of the contents. The lids of the BCGLT’s can be locked and sealed making unauthorized opening impossible.
■ ideal for transporting and storing food
■ very hygienic because of easy cleaning

Collapsible, insulated, food safe
The BCGLT series are collapsible large load carriers: hygienic and insulated containers that are safe for use with food. Three properties in one unit, and it is the combination that is unusual.
Insulation matters where product has to hold temperature through a leg of the journey without active refrigeration — chilled distribution, short cold-chain hops, temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical loads. Collapsibility matters on the way back.
Why collapsible changes the economics
An insulated container has thick walls, which means an empty one is mostly air with a large footprint. Rigid insulated boxes are expensive to return precisely because of that. Folding the walls down turns the return leg from a full vehicle of empties into a fraction of it.
Food safety
Food-safe construction is not the same as “plastic”. It means the material in contact with product is approved for that use and the container can be cleaned to a standard that survives audit — no cavities holding water, no surfaces that trap residue.
The 600 × 800 footprint
Half a Euro pallet, so two sit in one pallet position and the container fits standard racking and vehicle patterns without special handling.
See the collapsible and foldable range, or tell us your temperature and journey time and we will confirm whether passive insulation is enough.
