Why a disposable liner beats cleaning
The replaceable liner bag is what makes the bag-in-box system work commercially. With a disposable liner there are no expensive chemical cleaning products to buy, no additional personnel cost for wash-out, and no waiting while a container is cleaned and dried before the next fill.
Cleaning a rigid liquid container properly between different products is slow, uses water and chemicals, and still leaves a validation question. Changing a liner takes minutes and removes the question entirely.
Hygiene and cross-contamination
Product never touches the outer container, so there is no residue path between one load and the next. For food ingredients, cosmetics and any regulated liquid, that is not a convenience — it is the reason the system is acceptable at all.
Where the cost actually sits
People compare the liner cost against nothing, which is the wrong comparison. The real alternatives are cleaning chemicals plus labour plus container downtime, or one-way packaging bought fresh every shipment. Against either, the liner usually wins.

Liners are supplied for Beecraft’s bag-in-box IBCs: the IBC 500 and the IBC 1000 and 1000EK.
