Perforated, and why you would want holes
The Big Perforated Boxes are built from robust, scratch-resistant plastic with smooth inner and outer walls for easy cleaning. The perforation is the point: it lets air move through the load.
That matters for produce that respires or sheds moisture — fruit, vegetables, freshly harvested crops — and for anything washed before packing. In a closed box the same load sweats and rots from the middle outwards.
Scratch resistance is a hygiene property
A scratched wall holds residue and is harder to clean to a standard that passes audit. On a container washed hundreds of times over its life, surface durability decides how long it stays acceptable in a food operation, not how it looks.
Standard footprints
Standardised dimensions — Euro 1200 × 800 mm or ISO 1200 × 1000 mm — so the box fits existing racking, vehicles and handling without special provision. This listing is the 1000 × 1200 ISO footprint.
